Dear Cymbal and Booster Board Members and other Music Supporters,
We are very excited to share with you the roll-out of the newly chartered IHS chapter of the national Tri-M Music Honor Society. A copy of our charter is attached which states, This chapter's purpose shall be to inspire music participation, to generate enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service and to promote leadership among the music students of this school."
Information and membership applications are going out to music students this week. Attached is the information/application packet which is being distributed to students and parents. It explains the program, the selection criteria and leadership opportunities.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our committed musicians and for the future of the IHS music program. A very BIG THANK YOU to Leslie Hermann and the IHS Administrators for their support of the music program.
